Yah's Promises to Abraham - 7

I am continuing our look at the seven promises to Abraham about his progeny. In the orginal FTPD blog I listed out all seven promises as listed in the book "The Fall and Redemption of Adam's Race" written by Lawrence Blanchard. I have already shown that the seventh, the land promise, was fulfilled and that it is mute after that point (Joshua 21:43-45). As for the other six promises, we can see these fulfilled in the characteristics of the descended peoples known as Christian Israelites.

6. Abraham's descendants would possess the gate of their
enemies.

And your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.

In this blog I want to share some interesting thoughts on the seven promises to Abraham. Yahweh God made promises to Abraham that had to be fulfilled as our Lord and God cannot lie and must do as He has faithfully vowed.

Following is a quotation from "The Fall and Redemption of Adam's Race" by Lawrence Blanchard. [More]

This is my final entry on this topic as it stands in regard to the anonymous senders questions about my beliefs pertaining to New Covenant relationship. As stated in the previous few blogs; if you want to read my opponents complete question look at the first two blogs in this series.

I will reiterate the premise for answering this anonymous contributor. The biggest problem we, students searching the word for understanding, have is a proper Biblical paradigm! [More]

Again, in this blog I am continuing to answer the questions brought up by my anonymous opponent in regard to the New Covenant relationship and a Biblical view of it. To view the whole commentary by my opponent, you can go back to the first two blogs in this series.

I want to take a moment to remind you of my premise for answering this anonymous letter: "the biggest problem we, students searching the word for understanding, have is a proper Biblical paradigm! [More]

Again, I want to continue my blog on the topic of New Covenant Relationship who it pertains to and why it is important for us to recognize this Biblical Truth. I want to preempt my discussion on the next question that my anonymous opponent had presented me in the original article (you can read it in full in the first two blogs on this subject) by making the following premise statement so that you the reader will understand why I am tackling this anonymous commentary.

The biggest problem we, students searching the word for understanding, have is a proper Biblical paradigm! [More]

This is a continuation of the email that I had received sometime back regarding my views on the New Covenant relationship with "Christians" according to the New Testament. I have chosen to not resubmit the entire question/statement from the anonymous submitter as it can be read in the two previous blogs containing this title.

To continue on as before, I want to being with saying that the biggest problem we, students searching the word for understanding, have is a proper Biblical paradigm! [More]

*Please note that this is being blogged as the second part of the New Covenant Relationship blog that I began last week, but actually was meant to be the first blog. As you get to the end of this blog you will notice that it is out of order.

I received an email awhile back in regard to my view of the New Covenant, its relationship with a Covenanted people (specifically Israelites), and the authority by which it operates. The writer of the email questions me in these areas while quoting Scripture to support their view and understanding. I do not know who the writer is as it was sent to me anonymously; therefore, instead of answering privately between two parties, I will answer it this week in a general setting for all of those who read this article to determine what is the correct view within the Holy Scriptures! Let's begin with the statements made in the email: [More]
